The first option is a drive up to the Cape Cross Seal Colony and beyond. On our journey, we stop to see flamingos, a shipwreck and remote beaches that give us a good understanding of what exists up the Skeleton Coast. After a visit to the sea lions, we drive into the Namib Desert to have a look at the amazing views of lichen-covered mountains and the vast expanses of the inland desert. A brief stop in Henties Bay and a drive through Wlotzkasbaken will bring us back to the thriving metropolis of Swakopmund in the early afternoon. Trips run from 7:30 am until 14:00 with drinks and a light lunch included.

Moon Landscape Drive
A trip into the Namib Desert to see the Moon Landscape and the unique welwitschias is our second option. The focus of this trip extends beyond the scenery and into the transition of our coastal desert environment to the semi-savannah inland region. We drive through a local's back alley of the Moon Landscape, the Swakop riverbed and see vast fields of lichens. Short walks are always an option as are extra stops along the way.
Trips usually run from 14:30 until sunset but morning options are available. Drinks and snacks are included.
